Ever since his early childhood, Michael Jatas has been inspired by the dance music industry.
His favorites include George Michael, Paul Anka and Everly Brothers just to name a few.
He was brought up listening to almost all forms of music such as rock n roll, disco, retro and electronic / dance music.
As time passed by, the late 80's was a big time in the music industry when many new genres were forming.
Michael loved the new sounds spreading from younger to older generations.
At that time he started listening to retro, old school rap, freestyle, classic house and euro music.
At the end of '94 the scene started changing and the music started to loose popularity.
As soon as this occurred he started getting worried.
“What is happening to the music that was popular back then? That’s when he started to take action.
Michael started promoting and tried to revive the scene; with not too much luck he quit after a few years.
He still loved the music with all his passion, however records were hard to find and not too many record stores had them in stock.
In 2001 Michael acquired a new taste of music called “hardcore.
His first hardcore CD was Happy2BHardcore Chapter Six (Mixed by Anabolic Frolic).
He loved the sound and needed more and more music, still HHC wasn’t fast enough for him, and progressed into the gabber and speedcore scene and later had tons of CDs and a few records.
Now he owns a huge collection of hardcore music ranging from happy hardcore to gabber and speedcore.
Early 2003 he started to promote, deejay and produce hardcore music.
His official deejay site launched in March of 2003.
In the end of 2003 he started Gods Must Rave organization, which is a rave organization based in Toronto.
Early 2004 Michael started to promote even greater, thus he founded haradcoreradio and is live deejaying every week in his home studio.
Due to technical difficulties he had to close the show hardcoreradio.
A few weeks later he formed the speedcore & extratone group, God Fuck.
The group consists of Michael Jatas, SCDJ and Vulva.
That year they released their first track called "f*ck you!" Still Michael was producing hardcore and speedcore tracks as a solo underground artist.
October of 2004 he created his official forum "Hardcore Rave Forum" with the help of his webmasters.
In 2005 he decided to do something's differently.
He revived his radio show on Gods Must Rave and called it GMR Radio, a 24/7 live hardcore & speedcore radio show with many deejays spinning live every week.
Also at the same time founded Obseti hardcore label with co-founders SCDJ and Vulva from God Fuck.
A hardcore label dedicated to hardcore and speedcore music.
At the present moment Michael Jatas is busy producing with God Fuck, dedicating his time to Obseti hardcore label with the help of Psyactive Blueprint and DJ Dstroy and of course continuing the GMR Radio show.
Not to mention his deejaying and the Gods Must Rave parties.
His official deejay site now receives over 110,000 hits a month.
